The most common question we get here at Biltongboks is,
“What is the difference between the Biltong King Biltong Maker and the Biltong Machine?”
The most defining feature between the two is the size, the biltong king can make up to 3kg of wet meat and has the following dimensions 47cm x 31cm x 31cm. The biltong machine can make up to 5kg of wet meat and measures 58cm x 31cm x 31cm. They are both aesthetically pleasing and will fit in seamlessly into your kitchen.
The biltong king has an extractor fan and light bulb fitting at the top of the unit, whereas the biltong machine has an extractor fan and an heat plate at the top of the unit. There is no difference in drying time. The biltong machine’s panels are slightly thicker. Both units are easy to assemble, disassemble and clean.
The biltong king comes standard with three plastic hanging rods, nine meat hooks and two drying trays. The trays are great for drying fruit, vegetables and jerky.
The biltong machine comes standard with three aluminium hanging rods and six meat hooks. The drying trays do not come standard and can be purchased separately.
